Popular Warzone creator FaZe Swagg has responded to the litany of leaks that came out regarding the return of Verdansk to Warzone, including his thoughts on the rumored return of the fabled Roze skin – and he has an idea for it that players will likely want to get behind.

The Roze skin used to wreak havoc on Verdansk, with an all-black aesthetic that made players impossible to see in dark areas, meaning you would often find yourself ambushed from what felt like out of nowhere.

Despite several changes to try and brighten the skin without losing its allure, Roze was always somewhat of a problem in Verdansk, and now leaks have suggested it will be coming back when the map returns in Black Ops 6 Season 3.

However, Swagg has suggested a major change for the skin to make it better for Warzone players, but it’s not a nerf, but something different altogether.

Remove Roze paywall

When reacting to all of the leaks, Swagg suggested that Roze should not be locked behind a paywall, but instead should be unlockable by completing challenges.

“I just think, especially if they bring back the Roze skin, stop putting it in a bundle,” he said. “Put it in an event that people can earn. I can’t even imagine, not just us but even a casual Call of Duty player, how much some of this stuff is costing.”

With so many bundles now available to choose from, you can understand why Swagg would want to see more content behind events and challenges for players to unlock that way.

In the video, they gave credit to Modern Warfare 3 for doing this, giving players who put the effort in more unlockables. With the loss of the weekly challenges and the Aftermarket Parts, Black Ops 6 has a bit less of a consistent unlock grind in comparison to MW3.

It’s unclear how exactly developers Raven Software would want to integrate all of this throwback content into Warzone Season 3, with both the Roze skin and the multiple weapons – which apparently include the Kilo, Amax, Grau, and HDR – likely to be incredibly popular.

If it’s done through challenges, though, expect to see a lot of players trying to complete their missions to get Roze as soon as possible.
